Finding the Right Treatment Plan for Your Pet

Every cancer diagnosis is different—which is why we take a personalized, team-based approach to care. Your pet’s first oncology appointment is typically a longer visit, giving us time to review your pet’s full medical history, perform a thorough physical exam, and discuss any recent test results. If additional imaging, biopsies, or lab work are needed, we may recommend them at this stage to help us better understand the type and extent of disease.

Once we have a clear diagnosis, we’ll walk you through the available treatment options, which may include chemotherapy, immunotherapy, surgery, radiation (if referred), or supportive and palliative care. We’ll talk openly about the potential benefits, side effects, and what to expect throughout the process—so you can make the choice that feels right for your pet and your family.

Our goal is to support both your pet’s medical needs and your emotional ones. We prioritize comfort, communication, and quality of life at every step, and we’re here to answer your questions, check in frequently, and adjust the plan as needed over time.

You don’t have to make decisions alone—we’re here to guide you with honesty, empathy, and expert care.
