During a cardiology consultation, our team will take a comprehensive look at your pet’s cardiovascular health, beginning with their medical history and physical examination. We’ll review previous diagnostic results and recommend additional testing when appropriate (typically an echocardigraom), then discuss our findings and treatment recommendations with you. For pets requiring ongoing care, we work closely with primary veterinarians to develop an individualized treatment and monitoring plan and support continuity of care.

Echocardiography (Cardiac Ultrasound)
Echocardiography provides real-time, non-invasive imaging of the heart, allowing our specialists to evaluate its structure and function. It is an essential tool for diagnosing heart disease, assessing heart valves and chambers, evaluating blood flow, and monitoring changes over time.
Electrocardiography (ECG)
An electrocardiogram records the heart’s electrical activity and helps identify abnormal heart rhythms, also known as arrhythmias. ECG testing is particularly valuable for pets experiencing weakness, collapse, fainting, or other symptoms that may be associated with an abnormal heart rhythm.
Holter Monitoring
Holter monitoring provides continuous recording of your pet’s heart rhythm over an extended period, typically while they go about their normal activities at home. This can help identify intermittent or infrequent arrhythmias that may not be detected during a standard ECG.
Blood Pressure Monitoring
Blood pressure measurement provides important information about cardiovascular health and can help identify hypertension or hypotension. Monitoring blood pressure is also valuable for managing certain heart conditions and assessing response to treatment.
Cardiac Biomarkers & Laboratory Testing
Blood testing, including cardiac biomarkers, can provide additional information about heart health and help support the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular disease.
