Krista Li, DVM

Dr. Krista (Yiyao) Li grew up in the famous beer city in China called TsingTao. She attended Cornell University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science and Biomedical Science. She then received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and completed a rotating internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at the Veterinary Emergency and Referral Group (VERG) in Brooklyn.

Dr. Li is passionate about emergency medicine, geriatric care, and providing compassionate care to all! She is excited to be part of VSEC because of its collaborative team and the advanced care it provides to the community.

Outside of work, she enjoys CrossFit, hiking, cooking, and spending time with her mischievous cat, Wildling, and her dog, Phoebe, who is the perfect mix of her two favorite breeds: Pit Bull and Frenchie.
